What is your senior citizen discount policy and how do I get it?
A discount may be offered to patrons 55 years of age and older upon request. Please ask the ticket office personnel if you are interested in obtaining a senior citizen discount. This discount is not available for all shows.
What is your Group Discount policy and how do I purchase tickets as a group?
The discount varies so please contact us at 586-286-2095 for the lowest price available.
How long does the show last?
Each show is different, but we typically book shows that run for approximately 90 minutes. To find out more about a specific show in advance you can call 586.286.2141.
When do the doors open?
The doors to the building are open a minimum of 90 minutes prior to each show. The doors to the theater usually open 30 minutes before show time, or following clearance by the technical crew.
What is a Rush Ticket?
A Rush Ticket is available starting 90 minutes prior to the show and sold at a discounted price to Macomb College students and staff. These tickets are available to events when there are still seats available the day of the show and are typically for individual seats or small groups.
What is Flex Pass?
Flex Pass is the best pricing we have available for tickets to multiple shows. It allows the purchaser to save on each ticket when purchasing them for at least four different shows at the same time. You save up to $4 per ticket with four or more shows when purchased at the same time. Some restrictions apply.
What is the Gold Circle?
The Gold Circle is the best seating in the house. The seats are located in the first 10 rows, center stage. A seating chart is available indicating the exact seats in the Gold Circle.
When can you buy Orchestra Pit tickets?
Orchestra Pit seating is available only for shows that do not utilize that area for the production of the show. Once the production company determines their needs, seating in this area is made available through the box office.
What are your accommodations for patrons with special needs?
Patrons requiring wheelchair seating can do so online at www.MacombCenter.com. If wheelchair seating is not available online due to prior sales, please let the box office know if you require special seating for a wheelchair or visually impaired. We will do our best to accommodate special needs based on current seating availability. Barrier free parking and curbside wheel chair assistance are available from the front entrance. Assisted listening devices are available at the guest services desk, located at the front of the lobby. Please contact us at 586-286-2141 at least two weeks in advance for sign language or large print programs requests.
Where do I pick up “Will Call” tickets?
Tickets being pick up at “Will Call” are available at the box office, located at the front of the lobby, starting approximately 90 minutes prior to an event.
When does your brochure with the new lineup of shows come out?
The annual Macomb Center season brochure is mailed out in June.
How do I get invited to the Season Premiere Party?
All Macomb Center Donors are invited to the party and are eligible to buy tickets prior to public sales at a discounted price. Please contact 586-286-2222 for more information.
How do I get on the mailing list?

What is the process of selecting events and can I request a specific show?
Selecting the events for a season is a complex endeavor. Our Director of Cultural Affairs reviews information from promoters across the country and makes selections based on a combination of criteria – one of which is projected interest of our regular patrons.
