The Beatles Revisited

The MSO performance of “Classic Beatles” a few years ago met such success… we’re proud to conclude our 37th season with “Beatles Revisited.” Though the Beatles were only together a short time, their unique brand of composition and lyrics continue to resonate in our musical memory – more than 40 years later.

Since nearly every tune was a hit, this British band impacted our culture like few others in musical history. Add to their original popularity the full range of colors and dynamics of a symphony orchestra, and it only enhances their truly classic and indelible style.

The MSO revisits favorites from Sergeant Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, including the title track and such hits as “With a Little Help from My Friends,” “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds,” and “When I’m 64.”  But what is an evening celebrating the Fab Four without great singles like “Help,” Yesterday,” “All You Need is Love,” “Get Back,” and many more.
