“From the moment she stepped on stage it was apparent to the large audience that she has genuine star quality,” wrote The New York Amsterdam News of soprano Jeanine De Bique, about her New York debut. Winner of the Paul A. Fish First Prize in the 2008-09 Young Concert Artists International Auditions, Ms. De Bique gave debut recitals in the YCA Series at Merkin Concert Hall in New York and the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC where she sang “Kate Pinkerton” in Madam Butterfly and “Barberina” in Le nozze di Figaro.
“It was a moment of enchantment that one wished didn’t have to end… The performance was jaw-dropping.”- The Boston Musical Intelligencer
