For the greater part of a century, the Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra has entertained thousands with such hits as "Green Eyes," "Amapola," "Tangerine," "I Understand," "Besame Mucho,” and "Maria Elena." Now under the leadership of Bill Tole (who actually played Jimmy Dorsey in the movie New York, New York), the Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra will bring the young and the “young at heart” back in time. Nancy Knorr, as featured soloist, will pay tribute to the legendary Helen O’Connell while recreating the elegance and sounds of the 1940s with her own style and vocal ease.
