A cast of almost eighty Metro Detroit seniors sing, dance, roller skate and perform comedy skits with a vaudevillian flair at the annual Senior Showcase. This perennial favorite was the brainchild of the late Margaret DeSantis, Chairperson of Macomb Community College's Board of Trustees (during 1/1/85-10/7/93). DeSantis believed the Macomb Center could create a showcase for the wealth of creative talent found among the senior citizens in the county. Two virtually sold out performances take place each year in July and are open to the public.
