Brushes With Broadway is a high-energy, contemporary journey through your favorite Broadway hits and more!
Tom Butwin is a singer, actor, guitarist, and songwriter. He’s starred as "Jesus" in Andrew Lloyd Webber's hit musical, Jesus Christ Superstar, is a four-time Detroit Music Award Nominee, and recently brought his musical theater revue show, Brushes With Broadway, to life through a concert film and live album.
Concerts on the Lawn
This outdoor event will be held on the lawn behind the Lorenzo Cultural Center and Macomb Center.

- All Others: $25
Concerts & Events on the Lawn
- All Concerts on the Lawn start at 7:00 pm – Rain or Shine – concerts will be moved indoors in case of inclement weather.
- Please enter through the Macomb Center for the Performing Arts Main Entrance as early as one-hour prior to show time.
- It’s general admission seating on the lawn, please bring your own blanket/lawn chair.
- Wheelchair seating is available on the patio.
- No outside coolers, food or beverages; beverages and pre-packaged snacks will be available at concessions.
- No smoking is permitted on campus.
- Tailgating is prohibited in the parking lots.
