Show Choir Workshop

Workshop Classifications

At the Macomb Center we pride ourselves on offering Performing Arts experiences for students of different ability and experience levels. Our workshops are classified into three levels: Exploratory, Moderate and Intensive. Each level marks a progression in complexity of material covered in the workshop. These classifications are meant to serve as a guide in deciding if a particular workshop is right for your student. Please email artseducation@macomb.edu with any questions.

Intensive: Dedicated students with some prior experience is encouraged.  This level seeks to refine advanced techniques and challenge students to work in a professional setting with peers. These programs have rigorous daily schedules focusing on advanced technique, and performance quality, culminating in a ticketed performance. Significant time and energy will be invested by the student. Students will work with other highly motivated students. Intensive programs instill a professional work ethic, requiring students to handle fast-paced rehearsal schedules, manage their time effectively, and maintain accountability to the ensemble.

About the Workshop

For over 40 years this celebrated program has allowed students to put their singing and dancing skills together in a review of popular musical numbers!
