Learn drama skills from a team of theater professionals from our community partner, All The World’s A Stage. (ATWAS) ATWAS is a specialist in children's theater, and was recently recognized as one of the top ten theatre schools in Michigan by AuditionsHQ. The drama workshop places emphasis on cooperation, concentration, movement and story development in a non-competitive environment. Learning the tools of an actor, and exploring art and music, students will learn to develop characters from familiar stories, as well as creating those of their own. Students will develop physical, social, and artistic skills through theatre games, creative movement, improvisation, and pantomime.

About the Director, Lou Fazzini

The drama workshop is directed by Lou Fazzini, who is also the Founder and Executive/Artistic Director of All The World's A Stage. He graduated from Eastern Michigan University, with a Master of Fine Arts in Theater Arts with a specialization in drama and theater for the young. Fazzini is a former adjunct faculty member of the Theater Arts Department at Macomb Community College and coordinator of the F.A.M.E. (Fine Arts Meets Education) and Acting Out arts education partnerships with the Fraser, Roseville and Lake Shore Public Schools and Maple Lane Elementary School. He developed a successful drama program for At-Risk Youth in partnership with the Michigan State University Extension Program, the Family Independence Agency, the Macomb County Juvenile Justice Center and L'Anse Creuse Public Schools.

The drama workshop staff is comprised of several gifted individuals with training and experience in both theater and education.
