The Macomb Center for the Performing Arts is thrilled to have teaching artists from our Community Partner, All The World’s A Stage, as we return to our precovid Musical Theatre Camp for our 2022 summer. All The World’s A Stage. (ATWAS) ATWAS is a specialist in children's theater and was recently recognized as one of the top ten theatre schools in Michigan by AuditionsHQ.

Presenting "Seussical The Musical," this production will introduce our students to the concepts of a Summer Stock Theatre production, going from audition through performance in a 2-week period. Throughout the 2-week summer program our Musical Theatre Workshop, students will be introduced to the 3 components of Musical Theatre. Placing focus on script and utilizing theatre games, students will develop fundamental acting, vocal and dance skills that not only teach the art form, but impact self-confidence, creativity, and imagination. They will then take their newfound skills and apply them to production, with a culminating performance of the "Seussical The Musical." Tickets will be sold separately and will be available for purchase through our Macomb Center Box Office.

Performances are:
Friday, July 22, 2022 at 7pm &
Saturday, July 23, 2022  at 1pm

“This theatre and this building is where I first discovered Broadway. From show choir camps, to Garfield Singers, to Magic Company, this place sparked the dream for me! What a gift it is to return to your roots and share this show with friends and family!”
